This button allows you to do maintenance for the program. This part consists of five buttons. They are:-

a) Repair DBF
This button only used when the user encounter problems like ‘Not a Table/DBF’ error message/ ‘Index does not match table’ error message. It will take 10 minutes to repair the problems.

b) Delete Listing
This button allows you to delete the records. Just select the date of the records you want to delete.  Click ‘Delete’, a screen will pop out and a password will require before you successful delete the records. This is to prevent somebody accidentally delete off the records. Pack delete records will allow you to improve query speed after you have delete the records. This process will take after half an hour.

c) Backup my Personal Listing
You can back up your personal listing into Floppy Diskette.

d) Restore my Personal Listing
Restore your personal listing by inserting the Floppy Diskette which you have previously saved.

e) Reindex Database
Reindex is to be used under 2 conditions:
(i) When the database becomes very slow due to fragmentation of indexes after numerous updates.

(ii) It is required when the index file is damaged.  The symptom is such that a simple query for even a day of records takes exceeding longer than usual example half an hour or forever or that it returns no record.
Reindexing can take half an hour to an hour to complete.  If you stop prematurely, your database may be damaged.
